TRADCATKNIGHT: An Eagle’s Wings & The Winds of AdversityBy: Eric Gajewski From the work, Fortress of the Soul" The sound of the thunder and the sight of the lightning only means that Love drawest near....The rain to remind us that we are in the midst of Love's mercy...
Who could argue that an eagle was meant to fly? For although an eagle has feet he was never meant to be grounded for long periods of time. Nigh, no, he was meant for the skies. He was meant to behold His beloved locking eye to Eye. He was meant to contemplate those things which are above man. Thus, he was gifted with these two wings of Faith and Hope to fly. But an eagle could not fly if he first was not offered resistance (in the proper sense). For love to be proven there must be an edge of the cliff experience. Will I fall or shall I fly?
