TradCatKnight: Fr. Campbell- “Choose today whom you will serve” (Jos.24:15) The Church is not a democracy. Democracy is of earthly origin only. But with Vatican II the principles of democracy began to be applied to the Church, resulting in its ruin. We now have Bishops’ Conferences, like the USCCB in the United States. These meetings were unheard of until they were instituted by the conciliar church. They do not reflect the will of Our Lord for His Church. They place a limit on the power of the pope. Priests have their own assemblies and must have a say in the way the diocese is run. Religious Sisters must now be heard, and some of them are determined to be ordained to the priesthood. Laymen have their parish councils and must have their say in how the Church is run. Everyone must now have equality, even though they are not equal. tradcatknight.blogspot.com/2016/11/fr-campbell-choose-today-whom-you-will.html#more
