Strange statement of +W. On the one hand he says we should pray for the priests who are still remaining in the SSPX so they will find the courage to leave the society before they get poisoned and on the other hand he says that he does not advise the faithful to leave the SSPX because there are still good priests in it?? This is to say that sound doctrine “subsistit” in the SSPX whereas it is rotten from the top? There are still good elements – called “supernatural means” in the society – hello lumen gentium 8! Are the faithful who go to the SSPX chapels their own theologians? Will they know when a good priest turns into a bad one? Will 15 decades of the Rosary daily said nullify the fallen nature of man? Who is fast in compromising and slow in making sacrifices. There certainly are good priests in the SSPX (as well as they are in the Novus Ordo Church – by the way: why is he quoting what the Archbishop said in the 70s when later he said that one should stay away from the Ecclesia-Dei-Masses?) – but WE do not have to judge whether a priest is still good or not, God knows. What we must do is to run away as fast as we can from the dangers that come out of the Neo-SSPX. It is NOT a little-bitty of a poison that comes from their pulpits but rather the deadly venom that twists the mind of the faithful, poisons their hearts, steals their souls away from God and kills them forever. A bishop as a shepherd is supposed to say: GET OUT! As soon as you possibly can! Try hard and GET OUT!
