The vision given to Pope Leo XIII was to warn mankind, especially those faithful to Divine grace, of what lie ahead.
After "the vision", Pope Leo XIII composed St. Michael’s prayer & ordered it to be said after low Masses throughout the world. 1930, Pope Pius XI attached the intention of the conversion of Russia to this prayer. But these prayers at the foot of the Altar were abruptly removed without explanation by John XXIII in 1962
