This is how I gained 70 pounds in college and (probably) how I acquired an autoimmune disorder. I had high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and at age 20 I was denied insurance because they considered me a health risk. Listen to me: do not do this.
Here's the fact: you can eat healthy food cheaper than McDonald's:
Carrots: $0.70 a pound. Have you ever eaten a pound of carrots? You probably wouldn't be able to do it. Three carrots is half a meal.
Romaine lettuce in different colors: $0.99/head. A weeks worth of salad for a dollar.
Chicken legs: $4/dozen. 3 chicken legs is a "big meal" quantity.
Pork loin: $2-3/pound. 5 minutes of prep dropped in a slow cooker for 6-8 hours, and you have barbeque quality tender meat to eat on all week.
Apples: Less than $2/pound.
Eggs: $2-4/dozen. 3 egg omlettes are big omlettes.
