“Fake news” is nothing new under the sun as we can easily take a look into our past in order to see how we have arrived in our times. Since the Reformation and in all honesty since Christ handed over the Keys to the Kingdom to Pope Peter I, the Catholic Church, has had Her enemies. Assuredly, this is to be expected since the devil wants to see as many souls fall into hell as he can. We have always had heretics or false teachers out in the world claiming to follow Christ yet who have no authority and teach things the Church never taught traditionally. Protestants are not Christians as St. Athanasius says. They are not with the true elect and like the devils they are trying to convince men still to this day to leave Catholicism so that more and more souls will fall into hell.
